En 2023, au Royaume-Uni, on a estimé que 2 millions de personnes vivant dans des ménages privés (3,0 % de la population) souffraient d’affections post-COVID déclarées par elles-mêmes. Dans l’échantillon, plus de 85 % étaient en âge de travailler. Les conséquences d’une telle persistance inattendue de la maladie sur la santé de la main-d’œuvre sont importantes.
In 2023 in the United Kingdom, it was estimated that 2.0 million people living in private households (3.0% of the population) were experiencing self-reported post-COVID conditions . In the sample, more than 85% were in the working age. The consequences of such unexpected persistence of disease on the health of the workforce are large.
