Un nouvel additif coloré aux lingettes javellisées, Highlight, indique où les surfaces ont été essuyées et devient incolore pour fournir un retour visuel en temps réel du nettoyage. Dans une étude interventionnelle multiphase, Highlight a réduit les taux d’échec du nettoyage basés sur l’élimination des marqueurs fluorescents (15,0 % à 4,5 %) et le test de bioluminescence à l’adénosine triphosphate (3,6 % à 2,5 %).
Surface disinfection is critical for preventing healthcare-associated infections; however, sustaining high-quality cleaning technique is challenging without constant feedback and training of staff. A novel color additive to bleach wipes, Highlight, indicates where surfaces have been wiped and fades to colorless to provide real-time visual feedback of cleaning. In a multi-phase interventional study, Highlight reduced failure rates of cleaning based on fluorescent marker removal (15.0% to 4.5%) and adenosine triphosphate bioluminescence assay (3.6% to 2.5%).
