Le Programme pour prévenir les pertes auditives de NIOSH est axé sur la réduction des pertes auditives d’origine professionnelle grâce à des recherches sur le contrôle des bruits dangereux, la mise au point de systèmes de contrôle du bruit, l’utilisation efficace des protections auditives, la surveillance des pertes auditives professionnelles et la recherche sur les facteurs de risque reliés au bruit impulsionnel. Cet instantané montre les réalisations récentes et les travaux à venir.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Hearing Loss Prevention Program focuses on reducing occupational hearing loss through research on controlling hazardous noise, developing engineering noise controls, ensuring hearing protectors are used effectively, performing occupational hearing loss surveillance, and investigating damage risk criteria for impulse noise. This snapshot  shows recent accomplishments and upcoming work.
