En relation avec un article récent décrivant la transmission du SRAS-CoV-2 parmi le personnel de santé et les patients d’un hôpital universitaire des Pays-Bas, confirmée par le séquençage du génome entier, nous partageons notre expérience d’une grande épidémie hospitalière de SRAS-CoV-2. L’épidémie a eu lieu pendant la première vague de la pandémie à l’hôpital Nordsjællands (NOH), un hôpital de 600 lits situé au nord de Copenhague, et comprenait à la fois des patients et du personnel de diverses professions.
In relation to a recent paper describing transmission of SARS-CoV-2 among healthcare workers and patients in a teaching hospital in the Netherlands confirmed by whole-genome sequencing, we are sharing our experiences with a large hospital outbreak of SARS-CoV-2. The outbreak took place during the first wave of the pandemic at Nordsjællands Hospital (NOH), a 600-bed Hospital situated north of Copenhagen, and comprised both patients and staff of various professions.
